'Tots'

'Tots' was established in 1990 in Ipswich and from Kesgrave since 1996, to provide quality care for children of 2-5 years in age.

In 2005 'Tots' came under the ownership of Britta and Gary Blake. Britta having worked at 'Tots' for more than 14 years firstly at the Ipswich branch and then     Kesgrave, we are proud to continue the fine name and traditions of Kesgrave's longest established private day nursery.

We provide care for up to 25 children at any one time on a full or part-time basis, 52 weeks per year from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank holidays.

'Tots' supports children with special educational needs and also children who speak English as an additional language.

The nursery operates from a single storey building which comprises three main rooms, fully fitted kitchen, cloak room, wash and toilet facilities and entrance lobby.   To the front there is ample off road parking for dropping off and picking up, and to the rear there is a spacious garden with grass and all weather paved area.

Staff

It is vitally important that all staff should be qualified and experienced. Here at 'Tots' all the staff is qualified to national recognized standards, staff have also been checked by the 'Criminal Records Bureau'. To maintain the standards required by 'Tots' all members of staff attend on going training courses. There is always a paediatric first aid qualified member of staff on duty at all times as all staff have attended the recognised course.

Partnerships are formed with the local High School and College to enable students to gain valuable experience of working in a nursery environment.
